next gen S2k
The car, IMO, as far as everyday driving, the suspension is perfect and space is perfectly fine. If you want more interior room, then this really isn't the car for you... get a Vette or something larger. This is a roadster... it's not suppose to have a lot of interior room.
I'd only like to see some improvement on the power side. The one and only thing that I would want Honda to do to the S2K, is replace the F22 with the engine from the NSX (not sure of the engine code). That would be one wicked car. It would probably bring the car up to the price range of maybe like 40k to 45k, but man would it put a hurting on many cars out there... it would be a BEAST!!!!

Umm.. You dont want a heavy v-6 weighing down the front of your s2k. Pretty sure it would no where near fit. if anything you could add a cylinder to the end of the bank or maybe two(i-5 or i-6) but, might add some weight to the rear in a stronger rear end.
Balance and handling are what made this car great.
Examples of heavy front engine cars that are rear drive.. mustang, camaro, transam... see ... you dont want that.
The guy with the Z makes a good point. Hondas hold their value so well because they dont have a much better or different model every year or two.

That's why I've been saying, to replace the s2000 with another sporty car, they should re-design and re-release the NSX mini-me, the Honda Beat!
A tiny MR car from the 90's, only released in Japan and Europe. This car, re-designed, has so much potential! All it would need is a new chassis, body design, and a bigger motor (The original motor was under a liter at 626cc, and 3 cylinder SOHC, pumping out a whopping 63hp). Just slap in an ITR motor, tranny, and this MR car would be up there with the Lotus Elise/Exige!!

That motor will simply not fit. They layout and tranny is waaaay different from the inline 4 in the S2k.
