Nitrous questions
a 10 lb tank will give about 3 minutes of spraying at 100hp. So Dut has it right on 12 to 15, 1/4 mile runs.
Nitrous is good for two things.....1/4 mile drag racing at the drag strip or street racing. If your not into racing against the clock or killing c-5's on the street, go another route.

Dont take this to any offense, but if you want nitrous and say you dont understand or know much about it. please do some research to better familiarize yourself with how it works and how it should be setup. I didnt know anything when i first considered nitrous for my Trans Am, but I read everything I could get my hands on and the install and experience with it was great. My kit was strong yet reliable. I would suggest no more than a 75 wet shot on that motor. If it was my car, i would run a 50 which wont be anything insane but will give u a nice kick. BTW, i suggest you go with a wet kit by NX. I have a TNT kit but I dont think they make a kit for your car. They use big solenoids which control the on/off flow of nitrous and fuel. I have heard nothing but good things from these companies and their products. Some things i added to my kit were a fuel pressure safety switch, which immediately cuts off the flow of nitrous if my fuel pressure drops below a predetermined psi. I also added an MSD window switch, which allows me to control what rpm the nitrous engages and where it stops. Mine is set to cut off right before redline so if I miss shift or overrev, im not shooting nitrous in while the rev limiter is cutting off fuel. Its the little things that make nitrous go from scary to much more reliable and safe. Do your hw and good luck. got any more questions just ask.
As far as I know nearly all nitrous kits come with a microswitch (or similar) to only operate when under full throttle.
I have a car mag here where the stock air filter box was removed and the nitrous bottle was seated in its place.
Naturally there would have to be an aftermarket air filter (eg cai) to replace the stock one.I don't think this is such a good idea though.
As posted previously the best nitrous set-up would take into account optimum temp. Although probably not necessary for only a small application, bottle warmers (like an electric blanket sort of thing) can be purchased for this.
Just make sure the bottle warmer is not constantly on (eg when the car is switched off).
Best to get the nitrous professionally installed. I think the main problem is that people get addicted to the nitrous and it can be quite easy to upgrade (eg bigger jets for larger HP dose) although they may not necessarily take into account the air fuel ratio and end up running lean and blowing an engine.
