MY01 have one too..I guess they changed this after customer complaints. I don't wear a watch, so that is all I use. Since I changed to an aftermarket headunit without one, I use my cell phone.

I think GregStevens had posted something on this. On their trip to factory in Japan they asked this same question. The engineers smiled and said "It would have taken away from the joy of the driving experience." or something like that.

 

Good ole Fix-A-Flat. That is what the BMW M5 comes with. It does not have a spare or a jack ( ) or run flat tires, just a can.....

I too have heard people complain about the handling characteristics of the run flat tires. I do think it is kind of funny BMW gave the Z4 such a huge tall trunk lid and then went with run flat tires.....

Oh, and that poweer top on the Z4, it is an option!

 

Well, since the time stops when you drive the S, don't you think having a clock is useless.

I personally like the idea of a lame stereo. For those that merely want a (barely) functional stereo, they have it, while keeping costs down. For those of us that want to upgrade, we're not paying for a somewhat upgraded stereo when we're just going to rip it out anyway to put in a major stereo. Yeah, it should have had a clock though.

If the power top were an option, I would have taken it.

 

My 01 stock stereo had a clock. I dunno about it being from the CRV, but my Si had the exact same radio. So it appears that for the 01 model, they just lifted it out of the 99-00 Civic Si and dropped it into our S..
