I applaud the decision to omit the clock in the first year (of course I have 3rd year so it's easy for me to say 
). As was pointed out earlier, Honda was making a *celebration of driving* vehicle when it set about designing the S2k and the designers reportedly wanted all distractions removed. Time flies when you're having fun, so it's all relative anyway.
