Just as I did not buy a Miata or a Convertible Vette, I would not have bought this car if it had no power top. With our weather and driving and parking conditions, that top goes up and down more often than Marilyn Chambers head.

I have an '02 so I have a clock but I opened the door to the radio for the first time in a while and found the time is an hour off since the time change a month ago. Shows how much I care about the clock.

xviper - actually I prefer the miata top over the s2000 top any day. two clips and fold it back, no need to do anything with the e-brake. just simple, easy and manual.

It might save even more weight than this.

Even if I do have a clock in my stereo, I keep my stereo cover closed when driving and most of the time anyways.
But having one is nice...

Where, exactly, is the clock in a US model 02?
I do not think we have it here.
On my 2001 model there is a clock as part of the stereo but I have to open the flap and press the CLK button.
