I have a suspicion that it auto-locks itself if you press the unlock button on the key after you take the key out of the ignition but I could be mistaken.
If you push the unlock button after you've removed they key from the ignition but don't open a door, in 45 seconds, the doors will lock.

i would publicly post how to open the top but see it was a security issue because its an easy way to get inside and steal items in an s2000.

if you want to know just PM me.
That's why every S needs a proximity alarm, not a perfect solution but better than just OEM. If you think about how the roof unlatches, you'll realize there's something very wrong with the design, but I guess the average thief will just slit the top anyway.

If you normally lock your center console and you slam your trunk with the keys in there...
I will admit I did this once!
I locked it cause my Ipod was in it, and I was putting some stuff in my trunk and left my keys in there.

You have only one post on this forum. Not even an intro. You realize you are asking people to tell a complete stranger how to break into their cars, right?

Your car insurance may include locksmith service if you don't have Autoclub. Those guys can get into a car in no time and with no damage to anything. And chances are you are already paying for the service.

Hope that helps.

PS Your account is too new so you can't receive PMs yet either.

I do the same thing, but no one calls me crazy for it.
