I wish I owned both, but I have driven a few NSXs from the 95 to 00. I agree much more torque, makes it feel faster while accelerating in the low rpm range. Also, much more leg room. Seat goes back farther and feels more comfortable inside than the S. Down side ,besides price, I'm 22 and had trouble climbing out of the car. It felt like I was trying to get out of a canoe.

I own both, and IMHO:

- NSX has more usable power
- S2k handles far better- and is easier to drive at and beyond the limit
- The s2k OEM brakes are superior
- Both are very good looking, have excellent ergonomics and are very reliable.

I own a 2001 S and my friend has a 2003 NSX that I've driven several times. Obviously, the NSX has much more torque at lower rpms and has a very sweet sound coming from right over your shoulder. Here's where I think the NSX lacks and I really couldn't understand exactly why they did it this way except for maybe that the design was 10+ yrs old, or the top speed was higher but the Steering is 3.07 turns lock to lock, wheras the S is 2.4 turns lock to lock. What this means is much faster steering response from the little guy. Also, because the NSX is design is so dated, the stereo system lacks...(no in dash CD,) and the keyless that costs $1500 from the factory, flat out sucks.

That being said, I would still take an NSX over my S anyday.

I owned a 1995 NSX. On a track, nothing could touch it with comparable power. Plus, you could drive iut there and back - with Porsches, the tires would chunk so bad they were practically worthless

Road Rage, I think it's sweet how you own a Mustang, and have an S2000 on order...just thought I'd throw that in there.
