i had a choice of getting a used nsx for 30k or buying a brand new s2k for 29,500...i chose the s2k b/c it fits me better. im too young to own a exotic like the nsx anyways....and im not in a rush either.

Ohhhhkayyyy........sweet? That has various meanings around here, but just for shitz and giggles, how do you mean?

I can appreciate a tremednously powerful, almost brutish car that needs manly inputs to be driven right, and which can be made to run middle 10's for about $6k. A battle sword of the Medieval type - a delightful anachronism.

I can also respect the stilleto or rapier - precise cuts which, taken as one, are not impressive, but when done repeatedly and with skill, are just as deadly.

If you will indulge my metaphors, get my drift?

The S2000 has a much more rigid chassis than the NSX-T of any vintage (I've had 2 NSX-Ts). Once I got my first S2000, the NSX-T had to go. I got an NSX coupe instead. The NSX is much more poised and planted on the track and on the longer sweeping turns like ramps but the S2000 is better at autocrossing.

i would not get a NSX unless it was a 97+ the 96 and below are about the same performance wise compared to the s2k. i would rather spend 30k on a s2k then 30k on a old nsx that will have more miles and perform the same.
