Is the NSX worth the money?

I love the styling of my NSX and I do think it is worth it. However, that is my own opinion and no one will persuade me otherwise. I also love my S2000 and no one will persuade me that this car is not worth its price of admission as well. I think everyone on this forum knows my take on both of these wonderful cars from Honda.
I love the Z06 too and I could have bought one but decided on the NSX for its exclusivity among other great qualities about its design and engineering.

hand built is cheaper for a small production run of a car...it doesn't mean better in any way...

I think everybody on this board know in their heart that the NSX is way over price. Come on, how many bought their NSX for $90k? Most NSX owners I know bought it used, but often brag about that its a $90k car. Maybe that's why there's still ppl try to pretend they think its worth $90k? I love the look of NSX and Acura's service, but its way under power for $90k car. That's why I pick 996TT over 02 NSX. But if Honda put in a more powerful engine (I'll be happy if it has 350hp), I'll trade-in my TT rite away.
996TT
Very good choice. As much as I love the NSX (even if it came with a stronger engine) I think I'd take a 996 turbo over it any day. I had a friend with a heavily modded 993TT (Gotta love the whale tails) and it was an absolute monster at any speeds.
The only thing exotic about the NSX is the number out there, and that number is directly related to how overpriced it is in terms of performance per dollar.
The damn thing is 12 years old already, please Honda either kill it or replace it. There is nothing sadder than a 30 year old prom queen.
Well actually there is, the NSX owners who pick up used NSX's (usually pre 97's at that) and then can't accept that in today's market their car is below average in many performance categories -- instead they endlessly make excuses and false comparisons to save face.
-Steve (who read a couple posts mentioning prestige etc associated with BMW and Porsche -- who the hell looks at the maker of the car first? I would buy a damn kia if it had the right numbers -- this was the same logic used for both the M coupe and the S2000).

Sigh, sigh, sigh.
I can make an argument that any car is overpriced, but who the hell cares? As s2kpdx01 said, please make it stop!
If you look at some of the bargain performance cars out there, most exotics look too expensive. Hell, the Z06 makes the 911TT look about 100% more expensive than it should be, especially if you like to spend time on the track. And I'll bet a Mustang Cobra could give a NA 911 fits on the road course and kick its ass at the dragstrip.
Thank god we have choices though and can purchase cars that others would consider overpriced, ugly, slow, cramped, etc. Life would suck if we all had to drive the same car.
Oh, and if you've never sat in, ridden in, driven an NSX, you don't know what you're missing. The whole experience is just so well put together and everything works so right - its sublime and exceptionally enjoyable.
