I always wonder how low a 2000 S2000 with a lot of miles will sell for...

Ooohhh yes. I would be VERY comfortable saying that 2/3 of the S2000s in Canada were imported from the USA. The price difference for one just by crossing the border is INSANE.

According to wikipedia, only 1969 S2000s have ever been sold in Canada, 1999 --> 2004. Mine's an American car, most of the ones you see for sale are also (the BRAKE light on the gauge cluster, as opposed to the (!) light and the lack of a DRL light are the dead giveaways)

Well, cuz they were using the USDCAD and USDJPY exchange rate from 1999 ...

That would make sense, weren't exchange rates closer to 2:1 then?
