I installed a Clifford alarm kit years ago that used all the s2000's door switches, sensors and remote. Plus you added extra stuff like a glass sensor. It has worked great. Of course I park it in a garage and have a bouncer in a limo follow me and watch the s2k wherever I park Maybe thats helped too

The OEM alarm FOB has the word option on the trunk release button as shown in pictures posted by some other members. I couldnt use my standard remote with the alarm and I tried a few times to program it. I would contact a dealer and see if they can help you with factory remotes. I know there is a specific sequence for programming them. Good luck.

But wanabmmaboy claims he has the original remote and works for his alarm... Is this not correct then? I thought it was a seperate remote for the alarm but since these claims, I wonder if you can program it to work.
I use the supposedly non-alarm fobs for my car, works with the alarm. I guess it was programmed by the previous owner, or maybe Honda changed it for MY05?

Do you expect every reply to help. What if someone reads this because its about alarms and thinks what I used might be a better way to go if they want to use the oem remotes.

the guts inside the oem keyless and oem alarm is different and so is the housing.

you can't really interchange them, not sure you can program a non alarm fob to use oem alarm
