Excellent - Looks like Honda have done some major suspension chassis improvements - wholly throwing out the "its softer" theory out the window -

Particularly, I note the additional a-arm bracket reinforcement to prevent the shearing problem that some ppl here have had when using R-tyres etc -

Verdict on the engine? who knows (would seem to indicate that they had trouble getting reliability from 2.2l at 8000rpm+)- but it looks like the rest of the car is beaut -

It's impressions after a few laps on the track.

Man, it says the revised chassis imparts 10% improvement in the front and 9% in the rear. Do you think Rick's X-brace matches or exceeds that 10% for the front (for the 00-03)? And how much improvement do the Cusco brace bars give? For me, the new revised stock chassis is the only thing I envy about the new S2000 along with the XM radio-capable feature.

Woah.....in the 2004 Interior details article, it states:

"For 2004, dealer-installed headrest tweeters are available (two per seat)"

So the S2000 has the possibility of coming with 8 speakers (2 in each side of the door, 2 in each headrest)? Interesting........

Great info, thanks!
Note the beefed up clutch components and diff. After reading about all the clutch issues here, I'm glad to see that. Revised brakes, throttle, steering, suspension, chassis, syncs, elbow room, the list goes on and on.
And the most notable improvemnet of all- a new horn!

Fantastic info, wow.
There are a lot more improvements than I thought.
I think I will be ordering '04 brake pads.
The lower redline still makes me sad and some of the body details I still don't like.
Also- I noticed this for the first time today, the cruise control now has 3 buttons, so I imagine Honda has added the center switch to turn the system off, like on all their other cars...
