Aww, sh*t! They've turned the car into a cushy blvd cruiser. It's got TWO cupholders now fer christ sakes!
Simply awesome info. If it turns out to be nearly as good as it sounds it's a home run all the way around in my book.

Also, the rear bar on '03- cars was stiff enough to pick the inside rear wheel clean off the ground when subject to the high g loads and roll angles possible on DOT race tires. That was the main reason people had to run the mega stiff front bars, to keep that inside rear down. A Torsen LSD is great but unfortunately goes completely open when the traction of the inside tire approaches 0. As Steve said, this "band aid" had unwanted side effects that came with it.
As many have mentioned, slightly softer rear bar/spring rates could help the car put down power better, with more composure on broken surfaces. We'll have to wait and see, but it doesn't appear that Honda made these changes strictly for that "boulevard cruiser SUV" ride as many have speculated. The S2000 was so far removed from softer, understeer biased cars such as the 350Z that I do not see these minor adjustments fundamentally changing the nature of the car.

VTEC point is still 6000 rpm. But then again they say the redline is 8200 rpm when official Honda docs say it is 8000 rpm! I think the got confused with fuel cut-off which is 8200 rpm (according to the new info on VTEC.net).

F20C has a redline of 9,000. Fuel cut-off is 9,200 - 9,300.
TOV simply chose to list the "actual" redline.
