The Official S2000 CR Owners Thread
Reconsidered purchasing a CR because they're on sale, lol. Drove to Prime Honda in Massachusetts this past weekend, thinking it was a good time to since it was 2/28(short month, last day of February).
They would not budge under $29000 for an Apex Blue Pearl CR w/o AC, build date of 11/07, 53 miles on it already, sitting on their lot for a year. I offered them as much as $28000 just to see if they'd bite(I would NOT pay that much as I merely wanted to know where their bottom line was).
I explained to them that it isn't worth that much despite what they said they paid for it. After getting no where I left, but not before test driving a Cayman S. I will own one next year... letting someone else take the depreciation ride first.

In this economy I probably shouldn't, but got a Yellow no AC/radio..........27,300
I was ready to buy the car when I dealt with this dealer down in South Florida last week----but they wanted to tack on 599 dealer fee---so I walked---
They called me a week later offering me the same deal but without the dealer fee.......i declined.....i guess i didn't want it that bad.
They should have sold it to me when i was in front of them....their loss.

CRs are rare, and with many of them getting track time, pretty soon, several years, these CRs will be sought after by those looking for a true classy looking streetable track car under $40K, the only one of its kind, and the final model/edition of the S2000 here in NA
