Out of curiosity and without making me read all 42 pages...has anyone swapped a Mugen top onto their CR in exchange for the OEM top provided?

Thanks!

Not sure, but I can try it out at the next local S2000 meet. I guess the only possible issue would be the tonneau cover.

I would think so too, but the tonneau could be removed. From my understanding, there's something that the CR doesn't have that most hardware kits have. What is that piece?

Are you sure Ryan? When I was looking at the CR it seemed like everything was installed the same, but I think they use a different bracket for the bolt on the rear catchers (one of the bolts is supposed to screw into the softtop frame). Unless they used a nut like all of us who gutted the softop had to do (or use two bolts instead of three???)....

For the chap with the Hard Dog Roll Bar:

Did you have to cut the tonneau cover much? Do you have pictures of it?

Just curious... did recent bargain shoppers of the CR buy low and get hammered with APR?

The lowest price I've found so far is $29000 @ 3.9% for 60 months for a blue CR Base. I had an offer of $26,500 for a black CR Base, but the dealer wanted 5.9% over 60 months, and the car had 212 miles on it... no thanks.

I don't need one, but will pull the trigger when the price is right.

Who finances cars? Just kidding, I know most people still have to do this.

CROD, I know 5.9% is not getting hammered. I'm just getting the feeling that there may have been some recent posts insinuating a great deal OTD, but at what APR(?). In actuality, the $26500 @ 5.9% is $20 less a month over 60 months compared to $29000 @ 3.9%. I don't like giving banks more than they deserve.
