I like it better with the wing on. It looks to front heavy with out it. It balances the car out with the front end that the CR has. Not to mention its a CR and the wing is one of its defining features. It's like removing the wing from a Plymouth Super Bird.

Congratulations! You're going to love this car... And I'm glad to see someone picked up the car from Honda of Clear Lake in Houston. Based on Mchester's original posts about how the car was sold, I was starting to doubt myself and wondered if perhaps the dealership was lying to me just to get me in the door.

Anyway... Glad to see the cars are getting picked up. I hope you're happy with whatever deal you got. If you don't mind me asking... What deal did you get?

Ok... Enough from me. Enjoy the car and have a good one!

rahvis, I called them after seeing your post and one saleguy(sound Indian) told me 33000 + TTL. That's $5000 more than how much I got quote for with the 08 Apex Blue CR, so I was hesitant. But I want the GPW so bad that I call them back, this time I got another saleguy and he quote me at $32000 + TTL. After short time deliberating wether to go with 08 APB CR or 09 GPW CR for a difference of $4000 I said "**** it" and go with the 09 GPW. I am thinking to myself, if I am getting a 30000ish car might as well get exactly what I wanted. If I get the APB, I will regret it in future (especially since the GPW is available).

Here is the price breakdown:
09 GPW CR - $32000
Data Dot - $200 (It's already on the car)
Misc Fees - $148
NJ Tax - $2268
= $34,716

I think its better to post here instead of the roll call thread Is there more up to date version of http://s2kcr.com/crweb.htm ? I wrote a quick program to generate vin numbers (mostly calculating the random digit at index 8) from serial numbers (assuming a 2008 year) and it looks like there are possibly 8 GPW CRs sitting at some dealers or warehouses after checking them with autocheck.

More specifically, does anyone have the serial numbers for 2009 or know how they are generated?
