Ha I always rode top down in my 02. In my 06 with hardtop I never had top down and now with the cr I still haven't.

Just got back from the Wake the Dragon event. I think I was the only CR there. Should be easy to find my pic's on killboy

No one thanked me for making the event complete from a color perspective. If I hadn't shown up, they wouldn't have all US colors represented

 

I ended up getting stuck with work that weekend. We had national inspectors comming in so my boss wanted me taking care of it.
To bad i was looking forward to a nice long road trip in the CR.

 

Can anyone recommend what size RA1's to run for track days?

The eventual goal is to run NASA TTC. Based on their point system, the CR has only 5 points to play with before getting bumped to TTB. I'm thinking I want to run 255 RA1's in rear, but I'm trying to figure out what to run in front on oem AP1 or AP2 wheels.

 

on oem ap2 front wheels you do not want to run more then a 225 for big track use. for autocross, you can stuff a 275 on there, but for big tracks, anything over 225 will be pinched.

i ran 235 r888 last year on stock ap2 wheels, and she had little feel, but the car was primarily used for autocross. ymmv.

 

Yea the CR does look way different with the top down i whish they came with a soft top but that would add more weight

 

Plus we'd lose that sweet cover behind the seats. I love the look that piece gives.
