Today was my first track day with the CR and what a blast it was. It was at USAIR in Shawano, WI. It was cold (41F) and wet for most of the day but the car was fun and challenging to drive. Very different to the AWD turbo cars I'm used to.
Anyway, here's some videos. This was my first time ever driving the S2K 'in anger' so I'm far from driving it perfectly.
This is my second session ever in the S2K (forgot about the camera in my first session) the track was still dry at this point and I filmed it from my front lip mount so it looks like I'm really flying.

This is a little later in the afternoon and my favorite angle. It's filmed from the passenger side fender. Unfortunately at this point the track was pretty wet and the tire threw a lot of water and gunk at the camera.
Passenger Fender
This final one was also on the wet track and is filmed from the windshield. It's amazing how much slower it looks from a different angle.

Hello Guys, just touching base. My wife and I got a CR for a steal before I came to Afghanistan. SHE IS LOVING IT..and I am here.
Anyway, when I go on leave I have a few plans for it:
-Smoked side markers.
-Custom audio install with the sub ad amp under the cover(used to be an installer for 6 years, i think i can pull it off
-alarm
-Neuspeed Springs
-tinted windows
my question is, whats your opinions on Chroming the factory wheels?
my wife has already been looking at an SC for the car, I dont think she realizes that its a pricey thing to do!!!

I'd be interested. I can see where he's coming from though since Apex Blue is the most rare color.

Chroming the OEM wheels would look ugly IMO. As far as springs I have been scared to touch the OEM suspension as it feels so good stock. After having a lot of coilover sets I think KW V3's are the only ones I may try. I fear that trying to loose a bit of wheel gap will make the handling of the car go down.

[QUOTE=patinum,Apr 19 2009, 07:21 PM] Drove down from Chicago to Atlanta in my no-ac/radio. It was interesting. I just listened to the speaker on my mp3 phone. When i put it in the cupholder, the sound reverberates and sounds fuller. I can still hear it well even with the windows open.
No-ac was a bit harsh at times, but I

Took 3rd in AS for the Atlanta region autox today. Beat by an evo (2 drivers)...I want to find out if they were on R-comps though. The car feels awesome.
