I inspected the front and rear suspension bolts and they all have either a white or yellow lines markings across the bolts (even the front brake caliper bolts have these markings.) I wonder if Honda mark these bolts for alignment or torque specs.? Do you guys notice the same thing on your brand new car? I thought I would only see these markings on a crashed car or on a race car at an alignment shop. Hm...

There were two brand new CRs at the dealership and I test drove both of them. The one that I picked and purchased, the suspension didn't feel as crisp as the other one, but the engine seems to be stronger. My question is that would the tolerances of the manufactured parts or a slightly difference on the alignment specs cause this difference? To further describe the suspension feeling, my car requires a slightly more steering effort than the other one. My car feels more stable, but the suspension doesn't response as crisp/sharp as the other one. Care to share your thoughts?
Tire pressure? If one has been sitting on the lot for a year (which some have), it could be 7 psi less than the the other one... try that first.

You guessed correctly. Those marks are called torque paint. The bolts get painted telling everyone in dowstream processes that those critical bolts have been torqued and verified.

I like all the colors but here is my list
1. gpw CR
2. black CR but to hard to keep clean thats why i went with my color
Having owned black and silver cars in the past, i would have to say that keeping GPW clean is just as much a PITA as keeping any black car clean. Silver by far is the easiest to keep looking clean.

Too bad Honda didnt bring out the Type S here stateside.

On a side note...

How many apex blue people are out there... I want them to make a keyhole cover for me but I need 5 people to have them make it..

Any interet?
JS2k.com is having a groupbuy.... I have these on my berlina, had them on my NFR, and of course, I want them on this car (if I end up getting one).

We already had a group buy on these a few months ago. Myself and about 3 others got some at the time. Looks like he still has some from the look of his site. Perfect match, I used his on my Laguna Blue Pearl S2K and my Sebring as well!

I would say absolutely yes. In June I got new tires and an alignment at honda, ever since the car just didnt seem right, the wheel was off a few degrees in order to track straight, I finally took it in yesterday and I have fallen in love with the car again. A good alignment is one of the best things you can do for this car. It will inspire confidence, comfort, and above all control. definately possible you will feel a slight difference especially in a back to back test drive.

Nope..I can find boatloads of silverstone, gpw and berlina ap1 1:18 models but when it comes to an ap2 or a CR 1:18, bleh...

I did, however, finally get my hands on the apex blue CR poster from the Honda dealer last night...

I wonder how much a group buy from a reputable custom diecast maker would cost...
