It'll be dry when I go pick the car up. My original plan though was to wait until all the salt got washed off the roads.. Now I'm thinking I'm just going to go get it Monday assuming it doesn't snow or rain.

Since the CR VIN's are integrated with the regular S2000 VIN's, VIN Serial # 663 is CR # 277.

The first CR is VIN # 7 and the last is 2378 (for MY08)

Not sure what sound you are getting...where is the squeak coming from?

NO there is always a rattling noise from the front and a little squeek(spelling) from the back. Last time i took it off and put it on it went away for a couple of days but now its back again!

I helped an owner with a rattling soft top once...the latches were just loose. If you undo the latches, you'll see a couple of screws holding the latch to the top (at least this is how it is on a softtop). Try tightening those if they are loose. Other than that, not sure what the rattling would be.
