it's an amazing car....the differences are definitely notable...at least test drive one if you have the chance...about the price, i don't know of too many in the area so beggars couldn't be choosers
i imagine the wing is removable, there would probably be a few holes that would need patched but it doesn't look like a daunting task

If it is anyhing like an STI, if you remove the wing you also need to replace the springs, etc, and paint/patch. Maybe just better off ordering a standard trunk lid and putting that on, while you put the winged one back on for track days.
No idea what a stock trunk lid costs, though. At least you are not painting your car, which would decrease the value, in all likelihood, so it might be close to a wash.
