Good to see some more owners posting up! Keep them coming! Who else here has the "stripped" down model?

If you swap springs and shocks from a CR to an AP1 does it change ride height?
If you put the CR springs on a car with previously installed Koni shocks (de gassed), then the stiffer springs will not settle as much as the springs on previous year S2000s in the front. The rears will still settle just a bit. I found this out when switching over my suspension.
Nope!!! Old guys especially need their creature comforts. I do a lot of autocrossing and my thought was that you get pretty hot waiting in line to run. Therefore, I opted for the creature comforts with A/C being a necessity. In our area they broadcast your run time on a local AM band (specifically for the event) right after you run plus I like the noise while I am driving. I'm getting to old to be a real purist . . . . .We'll let all you young whippersnappers with all of the pee and vinegar do without the basics.

The CR suspension actually causes the car to sit higher. I didn't believe that this is the case when I first heard it, until I installed them on to my car. My mechanic also verified that the car does sit higher. It's hardly noticeable for most people, but those who own an S could probably tell the small diff.
From my understanding, this comes from the fact that Honda/Showa designed the shocks and spring such that the length of the shocks/springs are the same. However, the CR's suspension specs are much stiffer, thus when you actually put the car onto the ground, the car's weight wouldn't compress the springs/shocks as much as it would on base setup. Perhaps that gap would reduce a bit when the suspension sits-in.
I think this is a bit of a mess up that Honda had when designing the CR suspension. They didn't account for the fact that the car would sit higher with the higher spring rate. Just purely my thoughts
^^^ not totally correct. the suspension needs to be compressed before the shocks are tightened to spec. my car did sit a little bit higher with CR bolt on's but when i had someone measure their stock CR, the stock CR sits the same as OEM non- CR.

The thing is, the CR suspension combo came assembled, and is a simple bolt-on. Or no? Tks
