Bueller?

By the time I got to this post I was already bored to tears. I have a 2003 S2000 CR, but it didn't cost me any extra money to remove the spare tire, tools, radio, and a/c myself (and when I say myself, I mean, my step dad).

TUPAC fo life!!!!!!!!!!

I know in a different thread someone mentioned to change diff. oil within 1000-1500miles, does this mean that I need to change my diff oil first because I already put 1000miles on my car and the oil level still at 80%.

Thanks guys, c ya around and drive save!
I recommend it if you plan to run it hard, track it, auto-x, do a "dragon" or similar run. There are fluids that protect the diff a lot better than the oem. Search up and find what works for you and et it in there asap. I also have my car scheduled to get all the other fluids done in a few hundred miles when it hits 1500. My valves will also need to be adjusted now that the motor is broken in.

You don't NEED to do a valve adjustment. As a matter of fact it isn't called for in the maontenence shcedule until 105k miles. He is just being (overly) cautious.

Have your valves checked and adjusted every 15K miles.

As for the comment of the 2003 CR If it was that simple Honda would have not spent so much $$$ in reserachig and developing an already great car. Since 2003 the S2000 has gotten better a few times.

My CR currently has a lot more valve train noise than my AP2
Could this possibly be due to there being no hood insulator on the CR? I recently took mine off and noticed a BIG difference in audible engine noise.

No.

The hoods are both the same on my AP2 and the CR. There is a bracket that gives the aluminum support if that is what you are referring to.

Most people who have some general knowledge of a valve train can hear when valves are out of whack. In case you are thinking my personal observation is off, I have a handful of other mechanics who can confirm my previous post.
