The consensus is the RE01Rs are better than the RE070?

According to bridgestone the STI RE070s are different than the CR 070s.

Hell the 3800 lbs GTR just went 7:29 on their custom RE070s..

I blew through my stock RE070's in one track event.

They have amazing grip, sidewall stiffness is incredible, they were consistent in their grip from the first lap out to the last.

But it does create concern that a set of tires installed that cost about a grand to replace have such a minimal lifespan.

I've considered going to the RE010r's, but it's difficult to compare the 010r's to the 070's since the 70's are OEM and available in such limited sizes vs. the 10r's where they are for general consumption, so there are lot of reviews and scenerios to go off of.

I have a question for the Cr owners, I just put the Cr rims and tires on my 03. What tire pressure does the manufacturer recommend? They should be on the inside door jamb. What pressures are you running to get best performance.. Thanks!!
