Makes sense. Still not entirely certain what setup I'm going for...maybe I'll try 275/275 and full stiff. -2*/-2.5* ...should minimize any rubbing.

Quick question for other CR owners who drive in the snow.
If your driving simi aggresivly during your winter months how much of a change are you seeing in your MPG...ive got a drastic change even after driving less aggresivly and i want to see if anyone else is seeing the same results

Wow at first I thought it was because my car needed an oil change ( dash keeps telling me 5% ) but w/o me being aggressive at all my fuel economy has dropped big time!

When you said you rubbed with 275 in front, was that with a big bar?

I've been trying to decide between 245/275 or 275/275. When I autoxed the CR completely stock to get a baseline, I felt it understeered a bit (coming from an AP1). I have the big comptech bar that I was planning on putting on the car, but was going to set it at a softer setting with 245/275 or a stiffer setting with 275/275. Maybe I could go 275/295 and go with a middle setting, leaving me room for adjustability when time permits.
I ran 275/40/17 A6s up front most the season with -2 camber and +50mm offset wheels without any rub. The 1.375 Gendron bar was set at a middle setting (3/6) along with Koni auto-x valved shocks set 1.5 turns (about 75% full stiff). I think some of these guys are talking about street tires. If I were to go to a high speed track day, I would use the 245/275 setup.

Yep thats about right but since I'm only doing city driving it's about 230. In Michigan they switch over to a winter blend of fuel that's not as efficient so I figured that isn't helping either.

My last tank i got 24.5 average MPG with only 45 highway miles, so not too bad since i live in Colorado and we just got hit with a huge storm!! Blizzak rock on this car though, i was amazed at how well this goes in the snow with those tires. I have noticed a big driving difference though. Looking forward to putting my summers back on. Waitng for a nice day with SUN so i can post some pics!

mind if i ask what out the door was?
sticker price can change drasticly with fees included
Total out the door price was $24k including everything. I lost some on my trade in (volvo C30) but only paid a couple hundred in tax. So 24k for everything not bad. Took my baby for her first oil change yesterday at the Honda dealership, they were real friendly. So is an extended warranty a waste of money? Im very paranoid and like to have it their. They offered me a 7 year 70k for $1500. I get the money back if i dont make a claim. Thats equal to the factory warranty and includes car rentals etc..

with internet prices on honda warranties cheap as hell, the dealers are pushing aftermarket. i hate dealing with the dealer, so i skip it.

Jadrice, have you used anything besides the 275/295 setup on the CR?

I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who has gone this route after using say a 245/275 stagger.
