Does anyone know how much S2000 CR's they will produce in 2009 - given that there is still a lot of inventory out there I would not be surprised if they do very little - if at all any in 2009 - ..... I just heard that e.g. Mitsubishi is not going to import any 2009 EVO X's given the economy and full dealer inventories...... would be interesting to know if anyone has insight to when the actual last S2000 will go off the line in Japan...

 

I'm sure they will look at demand and build accordingly. If thats 10 or 400. I really can't see it being very many either.

 

I was under the impression that the last S2000 had already been built.

I thought I heard they shut down the line a while ago, the only question was whether they would fire it back up again to build 2010 cars.

 

I can run the same process for 09 vins as I did with the 08, but I'm going to wait until I know for sure they are done actually building them (ie, the assembly line stopped and no new vins are registered).

 

I plan on ordering a 2009 CR without A/C or radio in the next couple weeks.

I've been hunting down a white CR delete for the past month... what a waste of time that was! Ha.
