Nope... just 91 octane all day and all night.

I have no power adders; local dealer ran the CEL, and ordered me a cat, no questions asked.

I feel like the more I take my Hardtop off, the more rattles and noise this thing makes when I put it back on.

I rode with the HT off once, all the other times(5) were for cleaning...It sounds like the hooks on the latches/strikers are vibrating when i hit an imperfection on the road. Not necessarily big bumps or anything. It's starting to get annoying with all this rattle!

I'm thinking of greasing it up, which I'm not sure will solve it because there is visible oem grease on the seals. Also, maybe putting some small rubber bands on the hooks to eliminate the little movement that happens. When I do hear it, a quick fix is just loosening the latches and tightening it back up. Shrug*

Little o-rings work perfect. I think 2 #10's on each side should help.

Sin-etsu is the ONLY product you should put on the rubber seals. It will quiet some sqeaks, but probably not rattles. I know there are threads where folks have solved the rattles issues.

I actually cut a piece of rubber hose about 1/4" thick and attached it to the pointy part of the latch attached to the hardtop.

No more rattles for me

So lastnight my engine light decided to come on

I had it checked and its reading the Bank 1 Position 1 O2 sensor. Anyone else burn through theirs in less than 20K??

Also, i was reading through my warranty book and it said that some warranty items may be void if the car is track driven...did they forget this car was built for the track and is intended for track use??
I believe there is a TSB regarding the primary o2 sensors on 06+ S2000s. Should be covered without problems.
