Why so?
GF is preggo and needs a car soon. can't afford 2 car payments AND a baby.

so it's either cheap car for her/baby and i keep the S or trade in the CR so they get a nice car and i pick up a early model miata for my cheap thrills.

Congrats Jeggy!

Wow, aren't you afraid of affecting resale value? I know it's crossed my mind with all the changes I've made to mine, but I've always kept the OEM parts and everything is reversible. It would take a LOT of work, but it can all be reversed.

Of course if you keep it forever, resale is no issue. I know that's my plan.

Are all bone stock CR's 50 state emissions legal?
Going to buy a CR out of state and bring it back to California
just want to make sure I can pass all the stupid smog laws

His car was in an accident less than a few weeks after he got the car

He had to replace some parts, so many of them were replaced with aftermarket parts.

Seriously, I feel his pain. I'd cry (and kill the person who hit me) if that happened.

I bought my CR in AZ and brought it back to CA. You are good to go! mine was under 1000 miles too which can be tricky with new cars, but shouldnt be a problem.
