Hey guys, As the title reads, I crashed my car. Literally one week after I paid my first payment. I'm not new to driving lol, and my last car was somewhat sporty. I could blame it on RWD, or just carelessness, but I'm embarrassed either way. I slid on railroad tracks diwnshifting about 30 yds. before a turn, approx 30mph. Third to second, and lost control. My question is have any of you ever had a fender bender or have lost control being inattentive or being just plain foolish? Also what the worst damage you have done, aside from totaling?

I never did anything like that losing control with a RWD car, but I did lose control in the rain driving a RWD pickup truck a few times, luckily none of which involved an accident.

At least we know you're ok! Your life is more important than a car itself!

I feel your pain, my s2k was wrecked less than a week after I bought it. Some kid up the street blew a stop sign and slammed right into the back while it was parked. Good luck dealing with insurance. The damage doesn't look horrible, actually very similar to the damage my car had when it was hit. They totaled mine (I bought it back and fixed), but it's a MY00 and had 135k miles so you should be good if yours is any newer.

I feel your pain too man. I had my car for 17 days and while I was inside my local PetSmart a guy "accidentally pressed the gas" and plowed into my front end.
Stuff happens man. Be glad your ok. The damage doesn't look too bad.
