Ok so i stopped on the way home today to inspect the damage a little bit. Other than the obvious I noticed the rim was dented in about two inches and as far as suspension the only thing i noticed was that the spindle was snapped at the arm that connects to the upper ball joint, and the upper ball joint was pushed out of its seat. A little bit of scraping on the upper control arm, but nothing major. I cant tell if the strut was snapped or if it was just the wierd angle it was sitting at. The frame rail seemed relatively untouched, a couple scrapes and dings but no obvious kinks or rips or anything, and same goes for the all the mounting brackets for the control arms.

The wheelhousing has been pushed back a little or wrinkled by where it meets the bumper. Depending on the labor to fix that, it might lead to the car getting totaled if not for the cost of the replacement parts.

Even if they total it, you can find all the damaged parts from the used market for around $1200-1400, so it is worth fixing it(IMO).

I didn't actually mean an axel, I just don't know exactly what it would have been.
