LOL! Isn't it just amazing what those Paintless Dent Removal services can do these days?

He was joking when he said he buffed it out. That's a whole new (to him) car.

I'm such a killjoy! Personally, I loved your comment over in Vintage that you just jacked up the radiator cap and drove a whole new car under it.

I saw another picture, he had an OEM hardtop. What a waste. Don't drink and drive, let alone speed.

Speed too great for the conditions or the drivers ability (in this case his condition was a factor) can be a problem. Numbers on a sign are just arbitrary in many areas and saying speed was involved is a standard go to for cops and insurance companies regardless of what really happened. Throwing in the blanket statement don't speed because of an incident where the drivers impaired judgement and abilities are the real cause is just ignorant.

Clearly speed was a factor plus drinking and driving.

I understand your point, but it turns out that speeding is illegal. I won't say you can't speed, because you can. There's a difference between speeding 10 mphs over the speed limit, and speeding to the point where you most certainly would end up dead, or killing somebody else (in this case, upside-down with your car cut in half from a pole). I don't see why you find the urge to defend an underaged, drunk driver who recklessly put his and other's lives in danger as reasonable grounds for an argument.
