I see that the hoops/roll bars stayed with the driver.
Good design.

Please explain these numbers and what they mean.
I assume the Copart cars are parted-out. What about the IAAI? What is that and what do those numbers mean?

If you look up copart.com and iaai.com and search for Honda S2000, that's how many salvaged s2k's are sitting at their facilities all waiting to be auctioned out.

64 in a month or two or three, damn? That's like 1/1000th of all the S2000s that were imported into the US.
Would love to know exactly how many are left.
- How many are left…
- How does the number of crashes compare to other sport/performance cars…
- Stats on those crashing [young, first time RWD owners]...
- Reason for the crash [racing, spinning, drinking]…
I’m sure the Nation Institute Safety would know. Or the NSA
So this happened today here in Wichita. It's disappointing to see people risk their lives, and others lives just trying to have a little fun. I drive down this road almost daily, and it is definitely not one of those roads you even think about speeding on, let alone street racing.
Thankfully, it sounds like the passenger is going to be OK, and no one else was involved in the accident.

Thanks Suzuka!
Wow that looks quite bad--any details, or did you just come across this in a junk yard?
