I lost it once on the street having fun in this corner near my house that if you have to go wide or lose it theres 4 lanes to do it on, i came in way to fast and instead of going wide i held the line and lost it....alot of fun, but i was going pretty fast and i didnt even know if the 4 lanes were enough.

17 days after I got my car, cold tires and wet ground, ended up facing 180' the wrong way in my lane after taking a corner at an intersection, resting against a buick. couple hundred $ damage to my car, nothing to his.

Holy crap how scary!

What was aggravating for me was after the spin, the engine died and wouldn't start for what seemed an eternity but was probably more like 5-10 seconds. Apparently the ECU does a safety check and won't let you start the car until the check is completed. DOH!

Spun my 91 Mr. 2 twice, one 360 and one 180. Both on damp roads. In that car, you would get NO advance notice. Snap oversteer at its worst. Took them till 93 to fix it.

Never in the S.

I spun out on I-485 doing 55mph under heavy rain with bald tires...totaly my fault for having bald tires on the rear, I forgot the check the weather that week I spun like three times, got of the road going down hill and stoped with a bunch of trees..about $4000 fixing it...

Come off a damp round about, got the car in a straight line and gave it some

missed the change in road surface/dampness just as i hit the change for 3rd, got one hell of a fishtail! two lanes to slow the momentum and correct it! What fun!!!

Not spun her yet *touch wood*

[QUOTE=RED MX5,Feb 15 2006, 06:09 PM] With all the spin threads I've taken part in I am surprised to find that all of a sudden I'm not sure what we actually mean when we use the word "spin."
