Have any of you actually tried to drift the S at the track? I personally find it very hard..as opposed to my lexus IS300 that i had before. perfect balance on that car =)
When my car was new (bone stock) I couldn't drift the car well at all. Getting a stable drift with large slip angles was tough enough, but changing the direction of a drift was beyond my skill level. After a year stock (except for an AEM V1) I may have improved a little, but not much.
Now we have the car set up so that the front tires do more of the work when cornering, and between that and the FI the car is MUCH easier to drift.
Disclaimer - I am not a "drifter" and my car isn't really set up for drifting. The fact that it is easier to drift now is just a side effect of the current suspension setup and available power.
Even Alex spins his drift S2000 on a regular basis.

I still can't believe the bike didn't flop over on me.

^^what kind of setup do you have?
My car is also lowered, so there are roll and bump steer issues, plus I still have too much rear roll stiffness and my rear roll center is too high, so don't get the idea that I'm selling my setup as some kind of ideal. It's far from it, but the car is still a hell of a lot easier to drift than when it was stock. IMO, the best way to tune the suspension is using tire temps and data logging.

LOL, that reminds me of the day I took delivery of my RZ-350. I was use to liter bikes, and the thing felt more like a bicycle than a motorcycle. I left the dealership with my wife following, and made it almost two full blocks before almost busting my asp. First red light, I grab the front brake, meaning to apply them lightly, but I grabbed too hard and completely locked the front tire. The bars flipped all the way to the right, against the steering stop, before I even knew I'd screwed up. I still can't believe it, but I kept the front tire sliding until I got the front wheel pointed in the right direction and then got off the brake, and was able to stop at the light without any real drama. I pulled over into a parking lot, signaled my wife to pull up beside me, and (in total disbelief) asked her, "Did you see THAT!!!!??"
I still can't believe the bike didn't flop over on me.
