hahah yes a couple of times.
Generally when its wet with worn rear tyres, go to to a u turn and u gas it too much and end up doing a 180. i've done it about 3 times, luckily each time no traffic...when its wet and i'm planning on kicking the back out on a u turn i wait until there is no traffic
Another time it was pissing down rain and i was on a main road, about 4 lanes with a big extension on either side of the road, and no pillars to seperate the lane directions. I ripped up the handbrake at 70km/h and threw the wheel. Did about 10 360's! excellent fun just make sure u dont hit anything!

Embarrassingly, yes. 360 deg across 3.5 lanes of traffic (including a semi) during a morning commute on dry ground. B*tch on a cell phone made a snap lane change right into my side. I swerved, braked hard, let up on the throttle (Doh!).
Left rear went off the road onto the gravel shoulder - it grabbed again when it hit the concrete apron next to edge of a post support for an overpass. Things then happened very rapidly. I went both feet in, cocked the wheel over and watched in amazement as the traffic behind suddenly was approaching head-on. I landed neatly facing forward on the far opposite shoulder - no damage.
What's weird is that the engine would not even crank for about 10-20 seconds, and then started fine. It didn't kill from stalling during the spin either - I shut it down with the clutch in. I'm aware of the UK cars having the inertial switch, but I didn't think the US models had anything similar.
Just have to remember to power through...trailing throttle oversteer sucks for noobs...

spun out this weekend making left turn onto 5 lane residential street, lucky no one was around, had just rained.
made hard left turn, started to spin, overcorrected, did some gnarly fishtailing, scared the sh*t out of some lady walking her dog, and then saved it and kept on truckin'
gotta love the HP and RWD on this car

almost ran off the on ramp getting on the 55 south from chapman today. Stupid of me to try and go 45-50 mph getting on the ramp. Was it was a right turn going up almost a corkscrew. Once i passed the meter light i knew i was gonna spin out. The tail gave out going towards the edge of the ramp (no rails) did a 90 degree spin to the right then to the left, then to the right again the ramp had a little shoulder on the right, i manage to control the car into that. I saw an SUV behind me, he was probably like OH SHIET. corrected my self and kept on going. I almost died, but somehow i had a smile on my face afterwards
I spun out and off the road 2 months after getting the car. It was a simple (though bumpy) turn on a country two-laner. I let out the clutch at the beginning of the turn and the back end immediately came out way beyond the point of easy return. I ended up down an embankment where some brush and small bendable trees stopped me from going any farther. Scared the hell out of me. Worn and mismatched tires may have played a part but driver error was the main factor. I was really thinking of getting rid of the car but I took it very easy for a while afterwards always keeping in mind my mistake. Good part is that my insurance did not go up even though they knew about it (because I didn't make a claim I speculated). I have some unfixed minor damage to the front clip and front quarter but it doesn't bother me to detract from driving enjoyment. I still think that my old Miata with me in it in the same conditions and speed might have yielded different results.
