How often do you need to add oil? What grade is best?

Interesting thread. Straight and to the point.

Add oil if your oil level drops. 10W-30 is what Honda recommends.

Hi Onawhim,

check oil everytime you fill up gas.
I refill 1-1.5 Liter between service intervalls (15.000 km) and use 05w40 because 10w30 is not easy available in Germany but is also recommended for the S2K.
