[You apparently didn't read too well.

As far as "the best" sportscars coming from the factory with Mobil 1...it's called a CONTRACT.]

You are sooo WRONG!!!

1. an auto manufacturer would not use oil costing more than they needed to spend. you can't tell me they buy a cheeper synthetic "contract" than normal "cheap oil".

2. show me where the manual states "do not change to synthetic oil untill 7500 miles"

Please Do a search.
Some 12 months ago there was a thread on this subject.
An internal bulletin from Honda urging its S2000 customers to:
1) Check oil frequently (especially during break in). It also made comments on the tricky dipstick, and always use the LOWER reading on it as the valid reading.
2) Leave "factory fill" for 7000 miles UNLESS you drive under "severe" conditions.
3) NOT switch to synthethics until after about 7500 miles, to let the rings, bearings, etc "seat" properly.
4) Oil consumption in the S2000 engine IS normal.
Cheers
Daniel

Actually it won't.

I have a fumoto valve so it makes it a bit easier; however, when I drain the oil I actually use the spare tire jack and jack up the driver's side from the front in order to have the oil pan draining down and away even further.

For the person that asked....RHINO RAMPS from Wal-Mart will work if you really want ramps.
