Default Oil Change

Just had my break in oil changed out at 6100 miles. Service manager said that

they use Mobil oil in all their Honda's......keep in mind this is not synthetic oil. He

also stated that Mobil manufactures all of Honda's fluids, tranny rear end ect.

Anyway it only cost me 27.00 bucks for the oil and filter change. Can anyone

confirm that Mobil in fact does manufacture all of Honda's fluids.

Thanks to all who reply

Bill

true, honda comes up with specs they want and mobil producess the oil for them. if you actually look on the back of the Honda motor oil container you will see (im pretty sure it says something like Manufactured by Mobil) or something. but yes Mobil makes oil for Honda.

Shouldn't you be using synthetic in your S2000?

Not until at least 7,500 miles but I would suggest waiting until 10,000.
