I use royal purple so its expensive.
I'd probably choose regular oil over that stuff. It hasn't done very well in the test studies I've read. I've heard the stuff smells good though

All I'm saying is I changed the oil on my car 2 weeks ago. I put 30,000 miles on my car with amsoil before I changed it and there was still a good 3 cartons left of oil.
Huh? 3 cartons? 3 quarts? I'm totally confused.

I've been running the M1-104 for over a year. It beats the stocker in particle count analysis.

Just pick up a filter for carquest or autozone or whatever shop you have. Much cheaper and all do the job basically the same.
Some people say you get piece of mind with a Honda one. BS show me another supposedly worse filter that did not work correctly or anything. All do the same thing.

I use Amsoil and Eneos.

Purolator filter, Mobil1 filter or OEM filter.

Royal Purple is junk... read some tests on it.

A: There is no such thing as "Honda Oil". The quarts of oil you buy at the Honda dealership are merely standard motor oil (word on the street is Mobil Drive Clean standard dino oil) bottled and labelled with a Honda label and part number.

B. Dealers, when they change your oil, do not use the bottled "Honda" oil that their parts department sells. They use whatever that dealer group buys in bulk barrels.

C. There is nothing wrong with the bottled oil or the bulk oil your dealer uses, just don't think there is anything special about it because there is not.
