Tip- when you get the filters and washers - tape the washers to the top of the filters. That way, 2 years from now when you're on your 6th filter, you'll still have that washer around.

I use the Motorcraft/Purolator filters.
+1 PureOne filters...best bang for $7.

Edit: Although after reading that article I'm afraid PureOne's might have too many pleats for an engine that has high oil pressure. I may go to Bosch Premiums or back to Mobile One's.
