Default Oil Level Reset Question

Sorry I tried searching but to no avail....

I have an 06 and they have this "oil level percentage" that tells you when you need to change your oil Once it hits 15% this wrench icon comes up ...

I just changed my oil, but I do not know how to reset that thing .. can anybody help?

Thanks in advance!

I copied and pasted someone's post from the last time this was asked onto my computer.

To reset maint. info display (from Helm's)

1)Turn ignition to "ON" position.
2)Press trip button repeatedly until engine oil indicator is displayed.
3)Press and hold the trip button down for about 10 sec.
The engine oil life indicator and maint. item codes will blink.
4)Press and hold the trip button for another 5 sec. The display will reset to 100%

nice.. i just bought one.. and now wondering what i will do once it falls down to 15%.

do people who have this(im assuming the newer models) actually follow it.. or do they change oil at a set interval like the rest (every 3K miles, or 5K for my old car since i use synthetic)

Yes, you do follow it. On my car it always falls after at least 5k miles. I change it at 5k no matter what it says. You can reset it at any point, not just when it comes to 15% and you should.
