Oil Temperature & Pressure Gauges
We discussed this once before on the board without too much info being posted. Since we have the new "Under the Hood" topic area, I would like to ask again.
Anyone installed oil temp and pressure gauges? Where did you put them?

I've not done it, but there are two problems.
1) Where to put the guages
2) Where to put the transducers
Many people put guages on A pillar mounts. I don't know if any have been developed for the S2000, but it is only a matter of time.
You will need to replace or add a temp and pressure transducer to your engine. I don't know if replacement transducers will fit where the idiot light switch is now located. I've seen temp transducers that replace the oil drain plug.
BTW, VDO makes nice guage packages.

I considered a combined SPA gauge to replace the mode button on the left side of the dashboard. However to remove the panel you have to remove the dash, so I didn't get around to see if getting rid of the mode button would free enough real estate to lodge a gauge. I would love to do it, but will not consider "disfacing" the interior of the car.
There are replacement side pillars but for JDM cars. Looks ugly and on they are on the wrong side of the car.
Hi Luis,
No, I don't have after-market guages on my S2K. But I did add an oil temperature guage and voltmeter on my old '89 Si Hatchback. The guages were mounted on a plastic sheet that I fabricated to cover where the cigarrette lighter and ashtray were located.
I can't figure out a good place to mount guages in the S2K without looking out of place.
