Which one?
I can't believe no one is standing up for the newer, lower mileage yellow car. Clearly, I have some bias, but the '07 is a better choice. Offer them $21k, and see if you can finally get them to $21.5k. It's a buyer's market.
Potential problems to look for with the '06: It might be silver. It's only a guess, but you might want to check it out. That could potentially affect the boredom level of the car, and we all know that will just drain your HPs.

So the yellow has treated you good i take it?
Now, I havent seen the RIO in person yet. Judging by the carfax report that MY07 RIO has been on the lot since mid August sometime. I may check out the MY07 RIO tomorrow, but who knows, I may just be taking a drive to San Antonio. haha. I just wish the GPW had the Black/Red seats. It would be in the garage right now.

I couldn't agree more. Color is the most important factor when choosing your car, in my opinion, because it's what you will have to look at every day when you get into your car.
A one year model difference, a difference of two thousand miles, even a difference of a thousand dollars...these are minor things. But I have read enough testimonies from S2000 owners who settled for their second-favorite color and regretted it. Take a good look at ALL of the colors that the S is available in, and then make a decision.
If it's down to these two, which do you like more, Silverstone or Rio?

I was all set to buy a leftover MY04 in New Formula Red. I then received the same deal on a new MY05, except that it was yellow.
Now, I'd never been a fan of yellow cars, and I wasn't sure if I could live with it.
Boy was I wrong.
When the sunlight hits the rio yellow, you'll catch the metal flake in the paint. It is absolutely stunning. Also, I find that people tend not to pull out in front of me with the yellow car - it catches their eyes.
I love my rio. If I could go back and do it all over again now, I wouldn't change a thing. Rio grew on me, and I can't imagine my S any other way.
You'd think so but I haven't received any more tickets with my 06 Rio than I have with any of my former silver cars. Hooning around will attract more cops than your car color.
Color is subjective so go with what you want. I think the other factors to consider have been pretty well covered.
