I agree the car don't FEEL fast in a straight line. But last time I checked magazine numbers, it's still a sub 6 second car (0-60mph). That's pretty quick. But yeah, you must have a slipping clutch or owned V8's for previous cars.

I wouldn't say it's slow, but it's definitely not fast in a straight line. It's the slowest straight-line car I've owned besides my first car. I'll be fixing this one day...

Thanks for the review...I enjoy hearing people's opinion's/feelings
on the S in regards to plus/minus.

I surely wouldn't call the S a slow car...trying launching her
in 3rd gear at 45mph...no...there won't be a kick in the rear
like you would feel from a turbo Porsche....but you will get up
to illegal speeds very quickly!

It's surprisingly quick....5.3 to 60 is rather fast....so is 13.7 1/4mi.

Can I ask?..have you driven a non CR S?
I'm still considering the entire CR suspension swap and always looking
for positives and negatives.

I agree that the S is no torque monster, but I'd never call it SLOW. I've driven many many cars in my life, and the S is still far quicker than most. Even in a straight line.
ok i take what i said back earlier

it's definitely not slow. I knew how quick it was prior to buying it and I didn't buy it for the straight line factor

I bought it because I love the way it drives and how it feels. The tranny, the cockpit feel, and the sexy ass lines

In today's standards, it's no longer as fast as it used to be back when it came out in 2000. When I drove one back in 2000, I fell in love. 10 years later, I bought one

Wow you broke into my mind and stole my feelings on the CR!!!

I was thinking of FI too, not to have a roll race monster but to balance it out and have the perfect sports car! A comptech set up with 350whp in this car would be PERFECT

I think it would be cool to get cams and keep it N/A though.

Honda should have given this car more power though, I mean 10 years and they didnt' give it more power? I think this car should do atleast a 13.5 stock just from how fast the car looks...hahha
