I am fully aware of the capabilities of Grand National V6's and the Nissan GTR's
but you have to have forced induction to get any power out of those

yes there are 300 hp Nissan and GM V6 engines but
that is should be the normal output of 50 hp per cylinder from any efficient engine

the N/A V6 engine is a compromise between power and fuel efficiency...

i had an m3 with a 3.2 liter 6 and 333hp

or how about the nsx 3.2 packing close to 300hp

any engine can be made " high performance"

That's weird.Cause the wife and I took a spin in my 06' S this past weekend and It rapped out to 115 lickety split from a rolling 70 mph on a empty stretch of causeway and had plenty of throttle left.That's actually the first time I've done that since I bought it several weeks ago.This thing is still under drivetrain warranty and wanted to see what she had.And it had plenty for my demand of such a small pocket rocket.Or are you saying it just didn't get there quick enough to suit you?

the gear whine isn't bad. only around 55 mph and not 55 on. you should try someone's car who has it installed and see if it's enough of a boost for you.

I have a pic of a Lambo in my game room if that counts. Not yellow though.

 

My S2000 is the fastest stock car I've ever owned and I've owned 5 other Hondas and 3 Toyotas in my time.

OP: You need to spend a year driving a 1993 Civic DX and then talk about slow cars.
