One Year Today!!
Well, exactly one year today I became a proud owner of my Suzuka Blue S2000. I can't tell you how much enjoyment I have received from this car, this site and all the new friends I have made.
I have experienced highs and lows, fun and disappointments, thrills and chills, etc. This car has been everything I ever wanted and more. I was never a great car enthusiast, but when I saw this car for the first time, I knew I had to have it. I had never ever seen one at all in person, until one showed up at a local dealer for me to test drive. LOL even before I went on my first test drive, just seeing it sitting there, smiling at me, I was in love.
Even though I had to wait over 6 weeks, and was lied to and almost cheated at my first dealer, my ardor did not wane in the least, especially after I found this forum and read everyone's posts extolling the virtues of their S2000s.
I did have bad experiences from the second dealer during servicing, and now a general dislike of Honda in general after buying nothing but Hondas since 1984 due to several issues that have come up. But - I LOVE this car and that hopefully will never change!
OK, before this post gets too corny (if it ain't too late already) - I just wanted to say thanks to this site for putting me in touch with like-minded nuts - oops, I mean like-minded enthusiasts!

Hi Dan!
Today it's EXACTLY one year and two months for me and the perma-grin is just that -- permanent! Yesterday a run to the drugstore turned into a 60-mile blast out in the country. Played tag with a Porsche Turbo -- big fun!
Not sure if I'll see you for this year's MD-PA Border Run (anniversary weekend) but I'm sure our paths will again cross. See ya!
