My 01 W/R is supposed to be ordered in the next three days on this months move for July/Aug delivery. Here's my dilemma, I'm hearing recent stories of folks putting down a deposit & when they show up the price on the car changes significantly. I will have a faxed copy of a buyers order signed by the sales manager with our pre agreed pricing. Is there anything binding by this signed (by both parties) buyers order & my $500 deposit? Meaning, do I have a leg to stand on if I get to them (over 200 miles away) & they jack the price up? I've gotten so much b.s. from dealers & the stories posted here that I don't trust any of them any further than I could throw them. I've asked before but here goes again. Has anyone had experience buying a Stook from either Treadwell Honda in Mobile, AL or McConnell Honda in Montgomery, AL? If so, was it a good or bad experience? BTW, they are both quoting about $100 under MSRP with no forced options. Thanks for any insight.
