Default The Paint Is Not That Bad After All

I live in Nashville, TN and last night we had the worst storm in a long time. It hailed like crazy. I woke up in the middle of it and was terrified of what was probably happening to my car. I had visions of my top being ripped, then water getting into the interior. I also was certain that the paint was going to be chipped and that I would have a dent or two in the car. When I checked the car out this morning, it was perfectly fine. I was so relieved. Anybody else live in the Nashville area?

better look again. My car was at the body shop and left outside during hail 2 weeks ago. I went to check it out and I couldn't see anything, but when we moved it into the right light....ouch. The hood was the worst. it was a $720 repair.

Well. my car is black and EVERYTHING shows up. The car was dry and the sun was on it and I didn't see anything. I also went home for lunch and I still didn't see anything. I think that I am in the clear ~knocking on wood~.

Congrats. Must not have been frozen/hard enough hail. I would invest in a car cover just incase you encounter that situation again. I know I am.

Get one from California Car Cover (www.calcarcover.com). You can get a nice cover for $110. We got the Multiweave type (the cheapest one) and it's nice quality, totally worth the $$, IMHO.

Sounds like a deal, I think that I'll do it, but I got to fix a leak in my roof first
