How did you get the S2000 lettering on there - that looks great.

i got my caliper paint from Discount Auto Parts. not sure about the brand but it was not as good as i expected. (the paint not the look).

I also got my caliper decals from DecalGirl but they did not stick as good as i expected also. Half of my "S" is gone on the front right caliper.

Probably will have to do it all over...

does anyone have any idea on how to get a smooth finish painted look on the stock calipers ? or am i destined to have the classic orange peel look after using caliper paint kits <tire rack>

Sandpaper, wire brush and lots of brake cleaner. Whatever it takes to get the calipers as clean as possible. 90% of a good paint job is in the prep work.
