Painted calipers

anyone painted their calipers yellow? i saw this on the newer porsches with the optional brakes and i think it looks good with any color car.

I painted mine black with high-temp engine block spray paint. Looks great and is not as cliche as red ones. It just screams Pep-Boys special or Porsche imitation to me.


BTW...I used the brush-on kit on a buddies car and it was a pain in the ass. When it comes time to do it on another car, I will stick to spray-paint.

I'm considering doing mine, not red. While the S2000 has great brakes stock, I don't think the calipers are ballsy enough to pull off red. Black, maybe some type of titanium finish, but red just calls attention to how puny they are.

I painted my calipers and rotors with black hi-temp spray paint, works great and looks stealth. Olive green calipers and rusty rotors is no good.

Had red on my first S, stock rusty on second, my 06 is going satin black.

Red is just to much of a cliche now
